Test-rode a full lineup of trail bikes before buying an SB140: compared with a Transition Sentinel it's a tad more playful and the rear wheel tracks better on technical climbs.

“Add the sentinel to the list - best descending trail bike I've ever been on and it climbed great. The yeti was a tad more playful and the back wheel tracked better on tech climbs.”

Replaced a Santa Cruz Tallboy with an SB140 LR (Turq XO): Switch Infinity feels far more bottomless, it climbs as well without bob and still pops out of corners, nimble and solid, and it's ridiculously capable; the downside is the costly proprietary linkage to service.

“It's ridiculously capable and glosses over the fact that I'm a mediocre rider (I come from a roadie background)”

Their 29er SB140 is an amazing bike: it climbs like it's 5 lb lighter than it is and eats everything in its way; it's the most-ridden of their four MTBs on Colorado's Front Range.

“I've never ridden a Druid, but the 29er SB140 is an amazing bike. It climbs like it's 5lbs lighter than it is, and eats everything in it's way.”

Owns a 2024 SB140 LR: a really great all-rounder they happily took to Squamish and the Whistler bike park, and it tackles steep climbs like a goat, much better than their old Pivot Trail 429.

“I’ve got the SB140 LR and it’s a really great all rounder bike. The kind I was happy to take to Squamish but also Whistler Park. It tackles steep climbs like a damn goat.”

At 5'11" they chose a medium for their new SB140: unreal handling, cornering and control, snappy and very responsive; they couldn't be happier with the smaller size.

“Perhaps an unpopular opinion here but I’m 5’11 and went for the medium on my new Yeti SB 140. The handling, cornering and control is unreal.”
