Bought a 2026 Tarmac SL8 Pro at $2k off after a year on an Allez Sprint: it feels like a rocket ship, cruising at 24 mph with little effort, and they absolutely love it after the first few rides.

“Saw one was 2k off and I picked up a 2026 Tarmac SL8 Pro earlier this week. And my god, it feels like a rocket ship. Electronic shifting is incredible.”

Bought a year-old Tarmac SL8 with SRAM in flawless condition from a seller who moved to an SL9; loving it so far and doesn't think they'd feel a difference with the SL9.

“Bought the bike secondhandly from a trustful seller (who ordered an SL9), loving it so far! Don’t think I would’ve feel the difference with the SL9, and I was in love with the spec.”

Owns a Tarmac SL8 and loves it, especially for a quick hour when they want to rip, but their back only lasts about 50 miles on it, so they added a Roubaix for long rides.

“Also featured are Tarmac SL8 and Diverge E5. I love the Tarmac but my back is only good for about 50 miles on it.”

Bought a discounted Tarmac SL8 Pro with SRAM Force E1, returning to a race bike after a Tarmac SL6 Comp and a Domane. After a proper bike fit it rides like a dream; glad they chose the SL8 Pro after seeing the SL9 lineup.

“Finally got everything dialed in with a proper bike fit and it rides like a dream now.”

New Tarmac SL8 Expert after two rides, coming from a Domane SL 5 Gen 4: in love, the upgrade feels great, and on 32 mm tubeless tyres the ride is so smooth it feels as comfortable as the Domane.

“The ride is so smooth, and since I put 32mm gp 5000 tubeless, it feels just as comfy as my domane, which i didn't expect.”

New to road cycling, bought a Tarmac SL8 Comp this summer after a Canyon gravel bike and finds it great as delivered; they only changed to 32 mm GP5000 tyres.

“I bought a tarmac sl8 comp in a specialized store for 3200e (France) this summer. The comp model is already pretty great, you don’t need to upgrade parts right after buying your new bike.”

Within a year of buying a Tarmac SL8 Pro, found wear damage on the downtube by the bottle cage, on the Roval cockpit at the Garmin mount, and in the front thru-axle hex socket. On Belgian roads the bottle rattles against the frame and the Garmin shakes on its mount, unlike on their 2016 Canyon Aeroad.

“After only a short period of riding, I’ve noticed damage in three different areas:”
